ACS offers a nuanced, liberal view of the law as a mechanism to protect the powerless.

Professor Stone has served as a Supreme Court clerk, Dean of the Law School, and Provost of the University. He is a nationally renowned expert on the First Amendment and regularly contributes to the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune and the Huffington Post. At the Law School, he teaches classes on Constitutional Law.
