Justice Reyes was the first Latino elected to the Illinois Appellate Court. He previously worked in the Law Department of the Chicago Board of Education and was a Senior Supervising Attorney with the Corporation Counsel’s Office representing the City of Chicago. Justice Reyes is a candidate for the Illinois Supreme Court. If elected, he will be the first Latinx justice on the Illinois Supreme Court.
