About the book: Aging Thoughtfully features dueling essays between Nussbaum and Levmore on topics ranging from the importance of love and friendship in our later years and whether to enjoy or criticize anti-aging cosmetic procedures, to more practical concerns like philanthropic decisions and how best to alleviate grave wealth inequality with respect to the elderly poor. Nussbaum presents the philosopher’s approach while Levmore chimes in as the lawyer-economist.
