2026 Digital Assets Symposium
The upcoming Digital Assets Symposium will be held on November 9-10, 2026, at the University of Chicago, Gleacher Center. Now in its fourth year, the Chicago Digital Assets Symposium is a premier forum for engagement among academics and leading legal practitioners operating at the forefront of the digital assets ecosystem. It provides a unique platform for direct dialogue and the exchange of perspectives across disciplines, shaping this rapidly evolving field.
The program features sessions examining the principal issues currently influencing market development, including market structure, stablecoins, banking and custody, tokenization, and private law frameworks. It also addresses the convergence of traditional financial systems with emerging technologies, alongside critical developments in litigation, regulatory enforcement, and consumer protection.
The conference will open with lunch at noon on Monday, November 9th with afternoon panels and an early evening reception. We reconvene the next morning for more panels and conclude with lunch on Tuesday, November 10th. This is an invitation-only event and participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation, but there is no registration fee. CLE credit will be available pending course approval. To request an invitation and register for the event, contact Anthony Casey (ajcasey@uchicago.edu) or Patrick Daugherty (PDaugherty@foley.com).
