Malyi Research Awards 2025

The Malyi Center is now accepting proposals for research funding on topics related to political, social, and economic institutions. Faculty and graduate students at the University of Chicago are eligible. Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded, with funding available over multiple academic years.

Proposal Requirements:

1. Title and Description: A 150-word project description suitable for sharing with donors and displaying on our website if selected.
2. Full Project Description: A one- to two-page description that includes a statement of the problem and the proposed research strategy.
3. Detailed Budget: A breakdown of the proposed budget items.
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Please include an updated CV.

All proposals should be submitted via Infoready.
