UChicago Law Students Explore How They Can Apply Legal Training to Public Service on a Global Stage

Tackling Emerging Questions in International Law

Students from the University of Chicago Law joined peers from 14 top law schools across the United States to explore the future of public and private international law at the Eleventh Annual Salzburg Cutler Fellows Program.

The program, which convened from February 16 - 18, 2023, saw law students engage with prominent legal professionals, public servants, and leaders in the fields of international law and public service.

University of Chicago student participants included Alberto Vargas, Bryant King, Kate Kaplan, and Katherine Koza. They were joined by faculty representative Professor Tom Ginsburg.

This year’s program held three panels on timely international law topics.
