Anthony Casey Shortlisted for Cross-Border Insolvency Academic of the Year Award
Professor Anthony J. Casey has been shortlisted for the Global Restructuring Review’s Cross-Border Insolvency Academic of the Year award as part of the 2025 GRR Awards.
The GRR Awards seek to recognize excellence in restructuring and insolvency across multiple dimensions: practitioners, advisors, and academics. The Academic of the Year award specifically honors scholars whose research, publications, and thought leadership have shaped cross-border insolvency practice and discourse.
Casey, the Donald M. Ephraim Professor of Law and Economics and faculty director of the Center on Law and Finance, is one of five top academics nominated for the honor, and the only one from a US-based institution.
Casey’s inclusion among the nominees underscores his influential scholarship in insolvency, bankruptcy law, and cross-border restructuring.
Winners will be selected from among the shortlisted candidates across regions and disciplines and feted at an awards ceremony in London on November 20.
