My Cousin Vinny

with Commentary by Dean Marsha Nagorsky and Professor Richard McAdams

Vincent Gambini, a.k.a. Vinny, is a New York personal injury lawyer who's given the case of a lifetime when his young cousin Bill asks him for help. Bill and his friend Stan have been arrested for murder in rural Alabama, and under circumstantial evidence, Bill has been charged with first-degree murder and Stan as an accessory to the crime. Newly admitted to the bar and with no trial experience, it's up to Vinny to defend Bill and Stan.
