Meet the Dean: A Conversation with Dean Adam Chilton and Professor Samuel L. Bray, Seattle
Join fellow alumni to celebrate Adam Chilton’s appointment as dean of the Law School! Dean Chilton will sit down with Professor Samuel L. Bray, ’05, in Seattle for a timely discussion around “The Supreme Court vs. the Lower Courts vs. the President".
Many see the Supreme Court as a critical check on President Trump, while others see the justices as enablers of executive overreach. How will the justices navigate their increasingly inescapable conflict with the President? And will that lead to increasing conflict between the Supreme Court and the lower federal courts? Don’t miss this timely discussion on the evolving relationship between the courts, the presidency, and the future of judicial independence.
This event will be hosted at the home of an alumnus who lives in The Highlands neighborhood. The address will be shared with registrants closer to the event date.
Hors d'oeuvres and beer/wine will be served. There is no charge for this event.
