This lunch talk will provide an introduction to the field of law and economics through a discussion with Professor Adam Chilton and Professor Adriana Robertson. We will discuss the the role of empirical and statistical methods in legal research, and the professors will highlight some of their own research as examples. Our aim is to provide a synopsis of the role economics plays in legal research while offering students the opportunity to learn more about two of our law school's wonderful professors. 

And we will be serving Medici sandwich boxed lunches!!

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional.
