Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Stanley and Niko Plassaras (J.D. '14) for a talk about current issues in video games and intellectual property.

Jennifer Stanley is Chair of the Copyright Group and Co-Chair of the Games Industry Group at Fenwick & West. She focuses her practice on intellectual property, technology and media transactions and counsels regularly on copyright protection, strategy, and business model analysis and risk management. Jennifer also advises on copyright disputes and copyright registration matters.

Nicholas Plassaras focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling, with an emphasis on copyright, trademark, false advertising, right of publicity and complex commercial litigation matters. Nicholas works closely with our video game clients, advising them at all stages of game development, marketing and dispute resolution. He provides strategic counseling on IP enforcement, new business models, branding strategy and regulatory compliance issues regarding gambling, lotteries and accessibility requirements for advanced communication services.
