Please join the American Constitution Society for a panel discussion about the current state of the Supreme Court.

Professor Sarah M. Konsky is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Jenner & Block Supreme Court and Appellate Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to joining the clinical faculty, Konsky was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP.  She represented clients in appellate cases, as well as in class action and other cases in the trial courts.

Professor David A. Strauss is the Gerald Ratner Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Jenner & Block Supreme Court and Appellate Clinic. Before joining the Law School faculty, he worked as an Attorney-Adviser in the Office of Legal Counsel of the US Department of Justice and was an Assistant to the Solicitor General of the United States.

Professor Genevieve Lakier is an Assistant Professor of Law. Professor Lakier's research explores the connections between culture and law. She is currently engaged in a long-term project exploring the cultural history of the First Amendment, and another project exploring the changing role of the state in the regulation of sex. 

Professor Daniel Hemel is an Assistant Professor of Law. Professor Hemel’s research focuses on taxation, nonprofit organizations, administrative law, and federal courts. Prior to joining the Law School faculty, he was a law clerk to Associate Justice Elena Kagan on the US Supreme Court.
