Judge Anthony Johnstone will visit the UChicago American Constitution Society chapter for a discussion covering his career, his academic focuses, and current topics in constitutional law. This event is open to members of the UChicago community. Lunch will be served. The Honorable Anthony Johnstone was nominated by President Biden in 2022 to serve on the Ninth Circuit. Judge Johnstone received a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with honors. Judge Johnstone is notably the first University of Montana law professor to serve on the Ninth Circuit.
