The Law School’s support was tremendous and, as a result, I enjoyed an embarrassment of riches on the job market when legal academic hiring was (and still is) experiencing a steep decline. Particularly helpful were both the intense intellectual community that was instrumental in refining my ideas and scholarship, and the formal and informal mentors on the faculty who provided invaluable advice and guidance for navigating the job market.
