Hundreds of Law School alumni, guests, students, and faculty gathered May 4-6 to celebrate Reunion Weekend with dinners, receptions, and a variety of other events throughout the city of Chicago that gave them opportunities to reconnect with classmates and catch up with professors.

The weekend began with the annual Loop Luncheon downtown on Friday afternoon. Todd Henderson, Michael J. Marks Professor of Law, gave a talk titled “Lawyer CEOs."

Friday night's Wine Mess offered alumni a chance to see old friends and remember a treasured Law School tradition.

BLSA students gathered to honor Richard R.W. Brooks, '98, Professor of Law at New York University School of Law (third from left), and Sherod Thaxton, '08, Assistant Professor of Law at UCLA School of Law (center), the 2017-2018 recipients of the Earl B. Dickerson Distinguished Leadership in the Law Award.

The events on Saturday began with breakfast and a Town Hall Meeting with Dean Thomas J. Miles about the Law School’s initiatives, current students, and distinguished faculty. Clinical Professors Herschella Conyers, ’83, and Randolph Stone spoke about the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic during the meeting.

Throughout the day, alumni had the opportunity to identify friends and classmates in photographs from the Law School's archives.

Reunion celebrants from all classes were invited to join in a panel discussion, hosted by the Class of 1968, about how the scope of legal education has changed.

Alumni had the chance to attend a Faculty Masterclass with either Tom Ginsburg, Leo Spitz Professor of International Law and Ludwig Hilde Wolf Research Scholar, or Geoffrey Stone, ’71, Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor of Law.

Alumni enjoyed a relaxing picnic lunch with their classmates and families in the Green Lounge.

Many alumni gathered at the CLF memorabilia sale to stock up on Law School swag.

The younger members of the Law School community took advantage of the beautiful weather by spending some time in the Levin Reflecting Pool.

The Class of 1968 posed for a group photo after their 50th Reunion class dinner.

The Class of 1998 dinner took place at Seven Lions on Michigan Avenue.
