Vincent Buccola, ’08, Professor of Law, and Adriana Robertson, the Donald N. Pritzker Professor of Business Law, deliver a faculty masterclass on illicit enterprises, such as mafia, prison gangs, and drug cartels. The class explored the ways in which these complex organizations operate similarly to, or differently from, parallel legal enterprises.
Dean Thomas J. Miles (left) joins Tom Ginsburg, the Leo Spitz Distinguished Service Professor of International Law, for a faculty masterclass on institutional neutrality and its discontents. Ginsburg, who is the faculty director of the Chicago Forum for Free Inquiry and Expression, discussed the University’s freedom of expression principles in the context of today’s political climate.
