General Counsel of Nike, Inc., Hilary Krane, '89, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award and spoke to the Class of 2018. "Value the people you are sitting with today," she said. "You and they are the leaders of tomorrow and the array of contributions you all will make is too vast to imagine today."

Tom Ginsburg, Leo Spitz Professor of International Law, told graduating students that from now on, they are the designers of their own curriculum. "Today, you leave the university with the tools to go out and implement ideas," he said. "Your education as a learned professional does not end today, but you will set your own path in your education from this point forward."

On Saturday, June 9th, the Law School's Class of 2018 graduated. The Diploma and Hooding Ceremony, which took place in Rockefeller Chapel, included remarks from Thomas J. Miles, Dean and Clifton R. Musser Professor of Law and Economics, Hilary Krane, '89, Distinguished Alumnus and General Counsel at Nike Inc., and Tom Ginsburg, Leo Spitz Professor of International Law. After receiving their diplomas and academic hoods, graduates, families, and friends celebrated together at the Law School with a picnic reception. Congratulations to the Class of 2018 on their enormous achievements!
