In the end, Professors Huq and Macey win the competition to present the keynote at the “Annual Honorable Judge Frank Hoover Easterbrook Law and Economics Symposium,” and the school celebrates the interdisciplinarity of UChicago Law.

“Law School Musical,” based on “High School Musical,” pits professors against each other to earn the keynote presentation at the “Annual Honorable Judge Frank Hoover Easterbrook Law and Economics Symposium.” Along the way, students and professors learn that varied legal interests follow the footsteps of Dean Harry Bigelow’s commitment to interdisciplinarity.

The play was directed by Sophia Houdaigui, ’24; Sarah Roberts, ’24; and Maggie Wells, ’24. Isabel Dewhurst, ’24, and Kate Gehling, ’24, produced, and Mayson Moody, ’24; Megan Pitt, ’24; and Gabbie Zook, ’24, wrote the musical. Directed by Nathan Hensley, ’25, and Leon Tsai, ’25, the band included Daniel Abraham, ’26; Jacob Chludzinski, ’26; David Doktorman, ’24; Lauren Hinton, ’26; Ryan Liu, ’26; Bridgette Meyer, ’26; and Alex Worley, ’25.
