Frequently Asked Questions
Which classes are celebrating a milestone year during Reunion 2019?
Class years ending in “4” or “9” are celebrating their milestone 5th through 55th reunions: 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, and 2014.
What if my graduating class isn’t celebrating a Reunion?
The Law School welcomes all alumni back to campus for Reunion Weekend. Many activities are not class-specific, including the Loop Luncheon, the All-Alumni Wine Mess, and faculty presentations.
How do I register?
Registration will open in the spring of 2019. Registration costs for all events will be available at that time. Stay tuned!
Can I attend if I do not pre-register?
We will accept walk-in attendees if space is still available, but advance registration is highly encouraged. Registering before the deadline helps us to better accommodate you, reserves your space, and gives us a more accurate idea of how many meals to order.
Please note: any special meal requests must be made before the final registration deadline. Our ability to honor on-site special requests is very limited.
Can I bring my family?
Alumni are encouraged to bring family and friends to celebrate the weekend together. Children are welcome to attend Saturday activities at the Law School. The Picnic Lunch will include a face painter as well as additional games and activities.
All other events are recommended for adults only. Please contact Andrew Epps with any questions.
Are there childcare options available?
If you are bringing your family for a weekend of fun in Chicago, child care services are available from a number of local providers, including American Child Care. More information can be found at www.americanchildcare.com. For questions, please call (312) 644-7300 or email at email@example.com.
The University does not endorse or assume liability for any outside child-care service provider.
Will there be transportation to the Law School on Saturday?
There will be shuttle service on Saturday to and from the Gleacher Center and the Law School in the morning and the afternoon. The Gleacher Center is located downtown at 450 Cityfront Plaza Drive, just off of Michigan Avenue.
Complimentary parking will be available in the lot behind the Law School on Saturday.

Where should I stay?
The Law School has arranged for discounted blocks of rooms to be held at downtown hotels. Additionally, the University of Chicago has partnered with several hotels in the Chicago area to offer discounted rates to alumni. Please see our logistics and lodging page for more information.
What should I wear?
The recommended attire for events is business casual. However, please consult the forecast—as you know, Chicago’s spring weather is unpredictable!
What if I have dietary restrictions or special needs?
Special meals are available upon request; please note your preference when you register. If you have any questions, please contact Andrew Epps.
Where do I go when I arrive in Chicago?
Please visit the registration table at each event to check-in and receive Reunion Weekend information.
Where can I learn more about other activities taking place in and around Chicago during the Weekend?
