M. Gregg Bloche, "Doctors and Interrogators: Implications of the CIA Torture Memos"

M. Gregg Bloche, M.D., J.D., was Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Chicago, Professor of Law at Georgetown University, and Non-Resident Senior Fellow (on leave) at the Brookings Institution.   Dr. Bloche recently worked with the Obama campaign to help draft Obama's health proposal, and has written for a variety of publications, including leading law reviews, the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA, and the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post. His recent written work has considered physicians' conflicts of loyalty, problems that arise from uncertainty over the value of medical treatment, and the health policy implications of individuals' contradictory desires.
