Nadia A. Coloma
Associate Director of Content CommunicationsBiography
Nadia Alfadel Coloma joined the Law School in July 2023 as the associate director of content. In this role, she directs the content strategy for the Law School’s print and digital communications channels. Through writing and editing stories and producing videos to promote faculty research, student experiences, and Law School programming, she helps shape and tell the story of the Law School, emphasizing its mission, brand, and thought leadership. Coloma also serves as managing editor of The Record, the Law School’s twice-a-year alumni magazine.
Prior to joining the Law School, Coloma worked in communications roles at DePaul University for more than a decade, including in the Driehaus College of Business, where she managed executive communications for the dean, wrote for the college’s alumni magazine, and served as editor-in-chief for the School of Accountancy & MIS magazine. During her time at DePaul, Coloma served as president of the DePaul Women’s Network and co-taught several first-year courses in the university’s Chicago Quarter Program.
Coloma holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Jordan and a master’s degree in writing and publishing from DePaul University.
