Ingelhart is the Director of the LGBTQI+ Rights Clinic and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Previously, she was an attorney in the Midwest Regional Office of Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund where she played an instrumental role in advancing the rights of LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV under federal and state civil rights laws through impact litigation, public policy, and community education. Her substantive areas of interest include low-income advocacy, criminal legal system reform, and public health law and policy issues that impact the LGBTQI+ community. She serves as a Commissioner on the American Bar Association’s Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.
