Please join ACS and Professor Kate Andrias for a discussion of the current system of at-will employment in the United States and various proposals to end it.
Kate Andrias is a Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School, where she teaches Constitutional Law and Labor and Employment Law. Previously, she was special assistant and associate counsel to the President of the United States, chief of staff in the White House Counsel's Office, and a union organizer. Professor Andrias graduated from Yale Law School before clerking on the Ninth Circuit and for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. This spring, Professor Andrias is also teaching a seminar on labor law in the gig, fissured, and automated economy here at the University of Chicago Law School.
