The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about an upsurge of racial discrimination and attacks against Asian communities. This webinar is in response to the urgent needs of Asian communities and will focus on identifying ways to respond to racism and bigotry, and mitigate their negative impacts. The webinar will review historical and current contexts of racial discrimination against Asians in the U.S, as well as its individual and social costs.

Presented by Professors Yoonsun Choi, Zhiying Ma and Miwa Yasui, University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. Hosted by the Dean of Students Office at the Law School and APALSA.
