Wellness Wednesday: Student Counseling Services Presentation on Stress Management, Burnout and Imposter Syndrome

Three doctoral-level clinicians from Student Counseling Services will be providing an hour-long discussion on stress management, burnout, and imposter syndrome. This presentation is curated for students in all three years of Law school.
Carolyn Alter, PsyD is a Postdoctoral level Clinical Psychology Trainee at Student Counseling Service. She received her BA in Psychology from Michigan State University, her PsyD from Adler University, and her Pre-doctoral Internship was held at Purdue University. Her clinical interests include college student mental health; working from a relational therapy model; adjustment and transitions; identity concerns; grief and loss; trauma; family of origin issues; relationship issues; using a diversity and social justice lens in all her work.
Lorenz Angeles, MA is a Predoctoral level Clinical Psychology Extern at SCS. After studying in the Philippines for a decade, he obtained his BA in Psychology from the University of the Philippines and joined the workforce here in Chicago obtaining extensive experience working with children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. Lorenz is currently completing his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. He takes an integrative approach to therapeutic work with his clients, rooted in the empathic and relational models. Lorenz maintains active involvement in various organizations, striving to contribute to multicultural diversity, competency, and humility.
Priya Badhwar, MA is a Predoctoral level Clinical Psychology Extern at Student Counseling Services. She received her BS in Investigative and Medical Sciences from Saint Louis University and is currently completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University. Priya approaches her work through a relational model and multicultural lens. Her related interests include suicide prevention and participating in organizations dedicated to reducing stigma surround South Asian mental health concerns.
