Since joining McDermott five years ago, Stephanie McCann has not only expanded her corporate finance practice but also taken an active role in firm leadership as a member of the executive and management committees. She also is an active member of the McDermott diversity committee. In her practice, McCann represents private-equity groups, commercial lenders and companies in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations and loan workouts. She represented a leading building products company in connection with more than $3 billion in senior secured credit facilities and high-yield bonds. McCann is a past officer of the executive committee of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law.
