firm●wise\fûrm-wīz\(2015): a law firm recruiting reception for 1L students at

The Office of Career Services is pleased to host firm●wise, an event that features major law firms from all over the country who are eager to get to know you prior to fall 2015 on-campus recruiting.  This is the ninth year for firm●wise, and we cordially invite your attendance.  1Ls should plan on joining us the evening of April 15, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:30 in the Green Lounge to meet the law firms.  Light snacks and refreshments will be served as well. Dress is business casual.  Please do not bring your resume as firms will not be collecting them.

 This event provides 1Ls an advance opportunity to start researching employers for fall OCI.  The materials and conversations from firm●wise will be helpful as you continue researching and make your OCI bidding decisions over the summer.  Furthermore, this event (and others you attend) will be important in your OCI interviews as a way of connecting and showing your interest in an employer. 

Each firm will be centered around a small table and up to two representatives will be present to tell you a bit about their firm, answer your questions, and distribute information.  A list of participating employers is forthcoming along with a map detailing their location in the Green Lounge.

We look forward to seeing you at firm●wise.  OCS understands that there is a 1L elective on this evening and due to calendar constraints and conflicts, the event can't be rescheduled.  There will be plenty of time for students to participate in the event after class.
