This talk will discuss how important AI is going to be for the legal profession in the future and include a live demo showing what AI can do. Mr. Christopher Cyrus and Mr. Richard Tsay will share their experience building AI tools, while Mr. Shawn Helms will provide a law firm partner’s perspective where clients are paying the firm to work through AI legal issues.

Shawn Helms is a Partner and co-founder of the AI Cross-Practice Group and co-head of Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practice at McDermott Will & Schulte. He is a co-author of the 2025 book AI Law and Business.
