Brett Hart named Chair of Economic Club of Chicago
The Economic Club of Chicago has announced that Brett J. Hart, President of United Airlines, will become Chair of its Board of Directors, effective July 1. Hart will succeed Sean M. Connolly, President and CEO of Conagra Brands, Inc., whose two-year term concludes June 30.
Hart, a longtime member of the Economic Club since 2002, has served on its Board of Directors since 2022 and joined the Executive Committee in 2024. He will assume leadership of the organization as it nears its centennial year.
“This Club has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my career, offering invaluable opportunities to not only hear from some of the world’s most influential voices, but also collaborate and connect with an extraordinary community of peers,” Hart said. “As the organization approaches its 100th anniversary, I am both humbled and honored by the opportunity to serve as chair. I look forward to leading the board and building on the strong foundation and remarkable legacy laid by my predecessors, including Sean Connolly.”
