Prof. Alison Siegler will be hosting The Hon. Richard Boulware II of the District of Nevada on Friday, October 21 in Room VI from 3:30-4:30 for an open session for all students interested in conversations about clerkships, legal careers, public service, and public defender work. From 2003 to 2007 Judge Boulware was a trial attorney in the Federal Public Defender’s Office in New York City. He also served in the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas as the lead attorney for complex white-collar cases. He was also an Associate at Covington & Burling. He was appointed to the bench by President Obama.

Come anytime between 3:30-4:30 in Room VI on Friday for this great opportunity to meet with a judge in an informal setting. Snacks provided.

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional.
