William M. Hardin, '82: Joins the National Board of Lambda Legal

Osborn Maledon partner Bill Hardin to join national legal board dedicated to achieving equality for LGBT and those with HIV

Bill Hardin, co-leader of Osborn Maledon's business practice, joined the national board of Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV.

Hardin focuses his practice on representing entrepreneurs and investors in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings and other significant business transactions.  He is recognized as a leader in his field by Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business and by Best Lawyers® and has ranked among the Top 50 Arizona Attorneys by Southwest Super Lawyers

A long-time leader in equal rights advocacy, Hardin previously was honored by the Arizona Region of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) for his “sustained contributions to the advancement of equality and democratic principles.”  He helped to found the Arizona Rights Fund, now called Equality Arizona and has promoted human rights legislation and local ordinances in Arizona to protect equal rights. In recognition of his community service, former Governor Janet Napolitano presented him with the first Governor’s Award for Excellence in Human Rights in 2005.
