Vincent Cordero '99 Inducted to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Hall of Fame

Vincent Cordero, '99, Executive Vice President and General Manager at Fox Deportes, has been inducted to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Hall of Fame. 

He was the first person in his family to pursue a college education, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA, and entered the media industry to serve the Latino community. Vincent also earned a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1999.

Cordero believes that every Latino child can and should get a higher education. To that end, he successfully launched the Fox Deportes Apoya initiative. 

The former Univision and TeleFutura TV executive has initiated televised higher education awareness public service town hall meetings, among other efforts. 

The initiatives will include public service announcements for education and kick off a call of support for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. 

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund was founded in 1975. The nation's leading Hispanic higher education fund, it has awarded $330 million in scholarships over that time and support a broad range of initiatives.
