Timothy T. Scott '85 Named Managing Partner of King & Spaulding's Silicon Valley Office

King & Spalding announced the appointment of Timothy T. Scott to Managing Partner in its Silicon Valley office.

Scott, a seasoned litigator, has practiced law in Silicon Valley for nearly two-thirds of his 24-year legal career. He joined King & Spalding in October 2008 from Sidley Austin LLP, where he was a partner and the chair of its litigation practice group in San Francisco. Scott concentrates on securities litigation and other complex business litigation, including consumer class actions and large contract and other business disputes. In the life sciences area, Scott focuses on the litigation and arbitration of collaboration agreements and joint ventures, licensing disputes, distribution and supply agreements, qui tam actions, class actions and issues related to off-label promotion.

He received a J.D., cum laude, from The University of Chicago Law School, and a B.A. from Stanford University.
