Venable LLP has added a corporate attorney previously with King & Spalding LLP who specializes in mergers and acquisitions and other transactions as a partner in Chicago, the firm has announced.

Ted Keim will work as part of Venable's corporate practice, where he will concentrate on assisting public and privately held companies with transactions such as reorganizations and restructurings, divestitures, and investment and venture capital deals, according to the firm's announcement on Tuesday.

Keim regularly deals with clients from industries such as automotive, retail, hospitality, food and beverage, medical devices and health care, according to Venable.
