Mayer Brown promotes 57 lawyers to partners and counsel

Mayer Brown today announces the elevation of 57 lawyers to partner and counsel. The group comprises 36 lawyers who have been promoted to partner, and 21 who have earned the counsel rank. The appointments are effective January 1, 2026.

The promoted lawyers represent seven practices and 16 offices across Mayer Brown’s international footprint. The promoted lawyers also represent four of the firm’s Accelerated Growth Groups and four Prioritized Product Teams. Banking & Finance, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Corporate & Securities have the greatest number of promotions. The Chicago, London, and Paris offices have the largest number of promotions.
