Longtime Villanova Law Prof Joins Boutique Levine Lee
A Villanova law professor returned to private practice Monday for the first time in more than 25 years, joining litigation boutique Levine Lee LLP.
Steven L. Chanenson, a professor of law at Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law, has joined New York-based Levine Lee as of counsel, the firm announced Friday. Chanenson told Law360 Pulse in an interview Monday that his decision to join the firm came after long discussions with his old friend and firm co-founder Kenneth Lee.
"I've known Ken Lee since we went to law school," Chanenson said. "Seth was one class behind me, and we stayed in touch over the years. Levine Lee has been on the cutting edge of litigation, and this was an opportunity to bring my academic perspective to the practice."
Getting the chance to work alongside Chanenson has long been a goal, Lee told Law360 Pulse on Monday, adding that he is grateful he was able to finally convince Chanenson to join.
