Paul Grewal, '96: Presenting the William & Mary 2019 Mervis Lecture

2019 Mervis Lecture (Paul Grewal of Facebook)

Paul Grewal, who joined Facebook in June 2016 as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, will present the 2019 Mervis Lecture.  Admission is free and all are welcome. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School (1996).  He clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, practiced law at Howrey LLP (Day Casebeer LLP), and  was a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of California from December 2010 until June 2016.

About the Mervis Lectureship

The Stanley H. Mervis Lectureship in Intellectual Property was created in memory of Stanley Mervis in 2003 by his family and friends. Mr. Mervis, a member of the William & Mary Law School Class of 1950, was patent counsel for Polaroid Corporation for most of his career and was actively involved in important patent and intellectual property issues.
