Truth be known, Holly Davis wasn’t really looking for a job when someone contacted her about an opening for a deputy director at The Norton Museum of Art. She was happy with her job at the University of Miami where she served for seven years as the assistant dean for development in the College of Arts and Sciences, the university’s largest academic unit.
On the other hand, Davis said she had been working for universities for a long time, since law school in Chicago, and was interested in “a smaller place where I could have more of an impact,” she said.
