Highland Park voters overwhelmingly support mayor's re-election bid, decide crowded school board races
Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering appears to have coasted to her third term Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the county clerk’s office.
In her first contested election since first taking office in 2011, Rotering is leading with 72.4 percent of the vote, while her opponent, Bob Crimo, has captured 27.6 percent.
Crimo formerly owned and operated convenience stores in the Ravinia and Braeside business districts.
