As deputy group head of the Chicago office’s litigation group at Sidley, Michael Andolina helps clients manage crises and resolve complex multiparty and multijurisdictional matters. He recently represented Honda in the massive recall of Takata air bags. Andolina handled civil litigation and regulatory investigations and helped design a structure to channel Honda’s Takata-related product liability claims to a compensation trust. Andolina leads investigations on misconduct, including violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and allegations of malfeasance by senior executives of public companies. He also has assisted clients in winning dismissal of nationwide class-action complaints. Andolina serves on the boards of Leadership Greater Chicago and Special Olympics Chicago.
