Perkins Coie has boosted its emerging companies and venture capital practice in Palo Alto, California, with a veteran of DLA Piper, Reed Smith LLP and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
“Matt has a strong presence in the Bay Area tech sector, and his knowledge of the startup and venture capital landscape is impressive,” Palo Alto managing partner Lowell Ness said in a statement. “Over the years, Matt has crossed paths with many attorneys in our Palo Alto office, and he has received much praise for his quality of counsel and professionalism. Oshinsky earned his law degree at University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Yale University.
