Levmore Reappointed to Second Term as Dean

University of Chicago President Don Randel announced late last week that Law School Dean, Saul Levmore, had accepted an offer of a second term as Dean.  In his announcement Randel noted that Dean Levmore "worked imaginatively and energetically to maintain and improve the great and distinctive traditions of the Law School." Geoffrey Stone, who chaired the committee to advise the provost and the president, noted that there was "an enthusiastic consensus among the faculty, students, alumni, and staff with whom we consulted for the Dean's reappointment." Dean Levmore's second term will commence in June 2006
