Karl Huish '95 Joins PowerOneData International Advisory Board

PowerOneData International, Inc., a smart grid company that offers Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), automated smart meters and collector units, and its Genii(TM) software to utilities, municipalities and systems integrators within the energy industry around the world, announced that Karl N. Huish has agreed to join its Advisory Board.

Mr. Huish is currently the Senior Vice President of Artex Risk Solutions, Inc., and leader of the private captive division for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., managing over 220 captives for clients throughout the U.S., making Artex the largest manager of its type in the country. Karl was previously the founder and CEO of Tribeca Strategic Advisors, LLC, a captive insurance company manager.

Mr. Huish has practiced corporate law at two preeminent Phoenix area law firms, acted as the Chief Retirement Strategist for a $7 Billion asset manager, been involved in the creation, growth and sale of financial services companies, and has managed two Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Firms. He has held securities licenses (including Series 7), been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP©) practitioner, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF©).

Mr. Huish graduated cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review and a recipient of the John M. Olin Student Fellowship in Law & Economics. He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Economics, and minors in Japanese and Music.
