Josiah Child '11 Honored at Sanctuary for Families 2011 Above & Beyond Pro Bono Achievement Awards

On Monday, November 14, 2011, Sanctuary for Families will honor the work of
exceptional pro bono attorneys, inclduding Josiah Child, '11, at the 2011 Above & Beyond Pro Bono Achievement Awards and Benefit.

Hosted by Sanctuary’s Associates Committee (SAC), the annual awards ceremony and benefit honors
members of the legal community who have gone “above and beyond” by providing outstanding pro bono representation and advocacy on behalf of victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking.

This year’s recipients hail from some of New York City’s leading firms, and have devoted hundreds of hours to complex cases involving immigration, international family reunification, child custody, contested and uncontested divorces, orders of protection, and asylum.
