Joseph Stanley Cannon, known affectionately as "Joe" to all who knew him, passed away peacefully in his home in Chicago, IL, on July 12, 2023. Born on July 18, 1972, in Chardon, Ohio, Joe lived a life full of love, optimistic joy, and devotion to his family, friends, and community.
Joe was a man of many talents and interests, but above all else, he was a man of service. He was selfless and generous, always putting the needs of others before his own. He was a thoughtful friend who was quick to provide supportive advice and a warm laugh. Joe's friendly nature was infectious and he had a knack for making people feel special and valued.
Joe was a proud graduate of Brigham Young University, where he studied economics. He later received his JD from the University of Chicago, showcasing his commitment to his education. Joe brought his passion for learning and hard work to his professional life, working alongside his mother and brothers in the family business, Cannon Structures. His work ethic was admirable, and he was respected for his integrity and dedication.
