G6 Hospitality Appoints John Dent as Chief Legal Officer And Ama Romaine as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
G6 Hospitality LLC, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in the U.S. and Canada, today announced the appointment of John Dent as Chief Legal Officer and Ama Romaine as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Both Dent and Romaine will also serve on the G6 Hospitality Executive Committee.

A leader in the hotel industry, Dent brings to G6 Hospitality 28 years of legal experience supporting hotel operations, branding, development, franchising, management, strategy, and real estate, as well as corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution. Most recently, Dent was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Extended Stay America, Inc. and its paired-share REIT, ESH Hospitality, Inc. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility with Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., including Deputy General Counsel and Acting General Counsel. Prior to Hilton, Dent was in private practice with a focus on dispute resolution in the lodging industry. He is a graduate of UCLA and the University of Chicago Law School.
