Jessica Fairchild '00 Named to Crain's 40 Under 40

Jessica Fairchild, a mergers and acquisitions attorney for Sidley Austin LLP, has been named to Crain's Chicago Business 40 Under 40 List.

Having recently served as General Counsel for the 2016 Summer Olympics Bid Committee, Fairchild led a team of lawyers on loan from 20 firms who handled everything from ordinances with the Chicago City Council to revenue-sharing arrangements with the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Ms. Fairchild got her big break working on the spinoff of Mosaic Co., a Minnesota-based company that was formed from the 2004 merger of Cargill Inc.'s fertilizer division and Lake Forest-based IMC Global Inc.
