Heidi Yernberg, ’99, Named Managing Director and Chief Privacy Officer of BlueCross BlueShield of TN
BlueCross Names Yernberg Managing Director and Chief Privacy Officer
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has named Heidi Yernberg as managing director and chief privacy officer.
Yernberg, who previously served as outside counsel to BlueCross on data and privacy matters, will lead the company’s privacy office, whose focus is protecting BlueCross member health information.
“For the past six years, we’ve benefited from Heidi’s legal and privacy expertise and acumen, and we know she’ll do a great job leading the privacy office and the company in its ongoing efforts to safeguard our members’ health information,” said Anne Hance, senior vice president and general counsel for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. “We all look forward to working with her in this new role.”
