Attorney Began Calling for McDonald Video Release 1 Year Ago

The shooting of teenager Laquan McDonald by a Chicago police officer continues to be a hot topic across the country but it might not have come to light if not for one man and some of his colleagues.

Attorney and law professor Craig Futterman started calling for the release of the dash-cam video last December.

Futterman joined Good Day Chicago to discuss the police department’s handling of the case, the firing of Garry McCarthy, and whether the Chicago Police Department will be able to earn the public’s trust again.
