Erin M. Casey '02 Named Principal in Goldberg Kohn Ltd.'s Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Group

Goldberg Kohn announced that Erin M. Casey has been named a principal in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice group. Ms. Casey represents lenders in all aspects of corporate bankruptcy cases and commercial workouts throughout the country. 

Ms. Casey's experience includes negotiation and litigation of debtor-in-possession financing orders, cash collateral orders and sale orders in bankruptcy cases, as well as documentation of asset-based and cash-flow commercial finance transactions. She has also represented a broad range of clients in acquisitions and sales of stock and assets, collateral turnover arrangements, and leveraged lease transactions.  

She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association and was elected to participate in the 2009 Troubled Loan Workouts Project through the National Turnaround Management Association's Education Oversight Committee. She is also a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and commercial finance issues. 

Ms. Casey received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2002 and her B.A., with honors, in economics, from the University of Chicago in 1999.
